About

Double Kick is a holistic retail concept created in 2023 to fill a need for chic, minimalist apparel, home goods, and accessories for those that leaned toward the darker side - metalheads in particular. Anything not designed in-house by our founder is sourced from other women-owned or minority-owned businesses, and we donate 1% of all purchases to Planned Parenthood.

The Founder

Sara Kraus (formerly of Studio Sara Kraus) is a contemporary artist and creative director based in Portland, Oregon. She spent over a decade working in branding and marketing before prioritizing her passion for fine art, curating, and metal music.

An allegory of emotion and atmosphere, her fine art explores the intersection of contemporary art and ancient ritual. Her paintings can be found in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Asia.

1% Gives Back | We donate 1% of all purchases to Planned Parenthood

As a women-owned business, we stand not only for metal, but for women. And the first step in supporting women is protecting their access to healthcare and bodily autonomy. That's why we donate 1% of every purchase to Planned Parenthood.

Regardless of your religious or political affiliation, we hope you'll stand with us in our support of this non-negotiable resource.

Planned Parenthood uses research to drive innovation, improve standards of medical care, and break down barriers to increase access to sexual and reproductive health care services not just in the US, but globally.

Their vital programs include more than just abortion, like OBGYN services, healthcare for the trans community, sex education, public policy advocacy, community engagement, health care support, research, and more.

Since the Supreme Court’s decision to take away the federal constitutional right to abortion, more than 20 states have banned some or all abortions - causing demand at PP health centers in states where abortion is protected to soar by up to 700%.

In 2023: 1.2 million people were reached through education programming, outreach, and training; there were 3 million views of their educational videos; and there were 185 million visits to plannedparenthood.org.
