The July Collection
Three designs for a total of nine distinct pieces.
Each in an edition of 100 · Hand-numbered and dated · Pressed to order in our Portland, Oregon studio.
Shipping starts July 10. Public release July 15.
Back in March, I changed nearly everything about the way I run Double Kick. And whenever you do something like that, there's no guarantee anyone will come with you. But you did. You were one of the first people to believe this new chapter was worth building.
And it didn't feel right for you to see these pieces at the same time as everyone else. So before the public release on July 15, I wanted to invite you into the studio and give you the opportunity to reserve one before they're released publicly.
This version of Double Kick exists because a very special, very small group of people were willing to trust it before there was much evidence that it would work. I'm grateful you're one of them.
Welcome to the July collection.

The Arcadia Tee & Crew
Latin for "Even in Arcadia, I exist." The inscription appears on a tomb in Nicolas Poussin's seventeenth-century painting, where death speaks quietly from within paradise itself. Rather than diminishing beauty, it gives it weight. This piece is an invitation to live with greater presence, knowing that mortality does not interrupt a meaningful life, but completes it.
(And yes, Sleep Token fans, it's a nod to the album, too.)

The Hill House Tee & Crew
“No live organism can continue for long to exist sanely under conditions of absolute reality..."
The opening line of The Haunting of Hill House has become one of literature's most enduring observations about the human condition. Beauty, ritual, myth, and story are not distractions from reality, but the structures that make reality bearable.

The Sylvia Tee & Crew
Based on the line from Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar, “I took a deep breath and listened to the old brag of my heart. I am, I am, I am.” The text runs vertical, hand-set in faded gothic type.
A NOTE ON THE PIECES
Every piece is limited to an edition of 100, individually hand-numbered, and pressed to order in Portland on heavyweight combed cotton. Once they sell out, they don't get second runs.
The tees are insanely soft, boxier cut, intentionally oversized, and unisex sizing - order your regular size. The crews are slightly less boxy but still very cozy - size up if you want the oversized look.

AGAIN, THANK YOU
There are easier ways to build a brand than this. Smaller editions, longer essays, fewer releases, more intention — none of that is the fast path to anything, and I'd be lying if I said I haven't questioned it. But the reason I keep doing it is because people like you actually give a shit about the ideas, not just filling your closet with another cheap tee.
You're such gems for sticking with me through insane delays, changes, and more trial and error than I'd like to admit. This year has involved more experimentation than I'd anticipated, but I finally feel like the pieces are clicking into place.
So thank you, I know I don't say that enough.
-Sara
PS: I'm headed out of town for my annual trip to sit by a lake with no cell reception in upstate New York. I'll be back in the studio and ready to start packing these up for you on July 10th.
